This climbing Monkshood is native to east Asia, growing in sun or dappled shade. I grow mine with climbing roses & let it thread (with help) its way up amongst them. I keep the roots shaded from direct sun (same as Clematis) using a big rock but the flowers & leaves get plenty of morning sun. Approx 3m high. Purple-blue & white monkshood flowers. Likes a moist, cool but very well drained soil. Divisions.
