Epipactis veratrifolia is a rare orchid from Cyprus. The petals are green with an overlay of claret at the base, whilst the lip is a mixture of red, orange and white. When mixed with the colours of E. gigantea it produced a nice well coloured flower. Both parents are vigorous, but this hybrid tops both parents with stems that can reach up to 1m tall when happy with fairly large flowers. For me it has reached around 50cm. Sunny damp to wet spot. I have mine in a large terracotta pot perched at the edge of my pond where it can draw water through the bottom.
