These are bog plants that I grew in my pond at my old house but not now having a pond I am using an old concrete laundry sink. Use garden soil not potting mix & add some horticultural charcoal to stop the wet mud from getting smelly. This generally available from nurseries or hardware shops. these are smaller plants probably a couple of years to flowering size. It will grow in a semi-shaded part of the garden but the soil must remain moist.
