This first appeared a side-shoot on my plain yellow flowering Salvia campanulata which I had in the garden for 3 years before this appeared. I removed it & grew it on & here are some divisions for sale 2 years later. It will grow in semi-shade. I grow mine in morning sun & afternoon semi-shade in summer.
